Raisins are a great soy-free snack that is often overlooked! Not only are they healthy, raisins also don't come with a lot of preservatives or ingredients. They really are just dried grapes, which makes it easy to avoid soy! Some brands do add a bit of oil to their raisins to keep them from sticking together, but this is typically sunflower oil (we have not seen soybean oil used for this application), so we don't have any concern. Plus, there are plenty of no-oil options, like Sunmaid.
The best part about raisins is that they are easy to find. Any grocery store will have them and many convenience stores also carry them. Raisins are a great backup option for those times when things aren't looking promising elsewhere in the store.
Honestly, we don't eat raisins that often, but there have been a few times where they came through in a pinch for us. They are the perfect backup option when we need a soy-free snack.
