What is an elimination diet? An elimination diet is a two step process to identify if any particular foods are causing you to feel bad. The diet begins with a detox period where you eat only the most basic foods for 2 weeks. Then, in the last week, foods are re-introduced one at a time, with detox days in between, to see how your body reacts to each food. By recording how you feel after each food re-introduction, you can identify any problematic foods and begin to identify any food intolerances or sensitivities that you have.
