When we first began avoiding soy, several years ago, we had no idea what we were doing. Over time, Ashley and I have learned about soy in food, but we haven't forgotten what it was like when we were first starting out and didn't know how to avoid soy. One of the biggest struggles we had was cooking at home. Initially, going out to eat wasn't an option (since we didn't really know what to avoid), but cooking at home was difficult too. Sure, we knew that fresh vegetables didn't contain soy, but we didn't know what sort of soy-free food we would be able to make at home. Would recipes be too complex? Would we be able to have chicken noodle soup for dinner? Could we bake chocolate chip cookies?
As it turns out, soy-free meal options are plentiful and there are tons of simple recipes that are easily soy-free. However, finding them can be a bit of a challenge, so we are so excited to announce that we have a soy-free cookbook available starting today!
